CORRECT EXPOSURE
Set ASA film speed of the film in use
on ASA Indicator Window by turning
ASA Film Speed Setting Knob. In-
termediate ASA film speeds can be
set on the window by using the inter-
mediate positiop on ASA Film Speed
Scale. (For example, when the film
of ASA 125 is used, set the ASA film
speed between ASA 200 and ASA
100).

TIPS ON USE
OF METER
FOR OUTDOOR SCENE
Scenic viervs are properly measured
for exposure by pointing the ex-
posure meter downward to measure
the light reflected from the main
point of interest.
BACKLIGHTED SUBJECTS
When there is a strong light contrast
between the subject and the back-
ground, obtain meter reading by clos-
ing in on the subject, without the
influence of the backlight.View original page 12Page 14 · Read text

FILTER.
Built-in UV filter absorbs harmful
ultra-violet rays and makes the pic-
ture clear, crisp. Built-in Y2 filter
used with B & W film absorbs ultra-
violet rays and creates clear and
perfect contrast between landscape
and blue sky. When over-exposure is
indicated ND4 filter compensates it
and gives you a precisely exposed
picture.
When you use a daylight type color
film under artificial light, 80B filter
reduces excess red rays produced by
the light and gives the best possible
color contrast on the picture. Set
securely the notch of a filter to the
small knob on the front groove of
the camera. As the filter covers the
meter as well as dre lens, exposuie
compensation is taken care of.View original page 14Page 18 · Read text

HOLDING CAMERA
A steady, firnr hold is the best
assurance for good pictures with your
ATORON.
Hold the camera firmly, with your
hands steadied against the face.
Keep both thumbs under the camera,
other fingers on top or at the side so
that the lens and exposure meter
window are unobstructed.
The pictures show the most practical
way to hold your ATORON. It's a
firm and steady hold and nothing
i,, covers the lens, viewfinder and ex-
l. posure meter window.

exposici6n correcta.
FOTOS A CONTRALUZ
SUJETS A CONTRE-JOUR

reflektierte Licht gerichtet (siehe Bild).

View original page 33Page 34 · Read text
