Chonging of Lenses
The lens is fixed to the comero by o knurled locking ring which is the first ring in
front of the shutter. lf you wish to chonge the lens toke the comero in your left

con remove the lens. When replocing it moke sure thot the smoll recess on ihe rim
on ihe bock of ihe lens mount lies opposite the pin in the lens corrier. Slip the lens
home ond turn the knurled locking ring clockwise until it is tight.
Toke every core not to touch the lens (gloss surfoce) with your fingers. The
greosespots you leove moy be very slight, but they will interfere seriously with
the quolity of your pictures. To cleon the lens, use only o soft, cleon piece of
linen or o cleon gloss-polishing chomois.

the Wide-ongle lens of f : 35 mm (1t/r") o specicil viewfinder should be used
which con be ottoched to the comero by sliding into the slip-in shoe on the
top of the viewfinders. The picture seen in the viewfinders enoble you to choose
eosily the lens which moy be most suitoble in respect of focol length for the pic-
ture you hove in mind.
Under the viewfinder windows, there is o lever by which o mosk con be moved
inside the viewfinders so thot only one of the two windows is open ond the
numerols on the front plote indicotes which viewfinders is open.

otherwise the picture counter moy not show the correct number qnd in oddition

function of the comero but it is better to ovoid these little mistokes. Before the end i
of the winding operotion you will heor q gentle click which indicotes thbt the I
shutier is cocked. An ingenious interlocking device prevents occidentol double or
non-exposure. To operote the shutter press the releose stud locoted beside the T
winding knob. For the use of o coble releose the stud is oppropriotely threoded. For t,
time exposures set the shutter ot,,B" ond use o coble releosewith o locking screw. I

As you will see from the toble Electronic flosh con be used of the shortest shutter
speed with best results. Using flosh lomps the shutter speed should be longer thon
the effective flosh durotion of the lomp. Therefore it is recommended to employ o
shutter speed not less thon r/sr sec. for oll lomps of the closs,,M'r. put the plug of
the flosh coble in the flosh contoct socket which proiects out of the shutter body
below the viewfinder window. Synchronized flosh light con be used not only by
night but olso in doy light if the noturol illuminotion is not sufficient; for exomple:
for dork interior, or outs.ide on dull doys or during twilight.
-Film rewinding fokot /5'
After 20 or 36 pictures respectively hove been token you will feel o noticeoble

the expected figure 20 or 36 do not be worried becquse this con hoppen if there
is not sufficient length of film for the lost picture.View original page 14Page 15 · Read text
Before you open the bqck wqll the exposed film must be rewound into
