set higher by 3 DlN.
 lf the meosuring device is engoged only for the time of the meosuring process, the

 holf. Owing to the use of o bridge circuit voltoge fluctuotionswill be of no influence
on the meqsurement results.

Preporing the TTL Pentq Prism
          Employ the TTL Pentq Prism (45) os fqr os
           possible only with o flexible eyepiece cup.
          Spectocle-weorers use o  vision-correction
           lens (see the  instruction monuol for the
           co mero).


            After plocing the TTL Pento Prism in the
          comero turn the shutter-speedsetting disc
            (51) once  f rom stop to stop so thqt the
            driver pin (44) will engoge the grooves on
            the boitom side of the-fft  Pento Prism (45).
           This hos been done correctly if, when the
           shutter-speedsetting disc (51) is turned, the
           shutter-speed setting knob (10)  is tu rn ing,
             too.

           Ploce the mercury oxide element (Mollory
         PX 13) in the chomber below the lid @71:
            plus sign outwords.

Setting the film sensitivity
Turn the shutter-speed setting disc  (51)
untit the oronge-coloured triongle will be
visible.



Turn the lower disc (50o) of the operture-
setting  d evice  u ntil  the    li ne  wil I  stond
ogoin'st the line on the centrol disc (50b).
Push the chonge-over switch of the lower
disc (5Oo) home of the two lines.



Push the push button (52o) home into the
TTL Pento Prism ond  turn the lower disc
 (50o) until the white  line of the desired
numbet will be oppositethe oronge-coloured
 tria ngle-Wh on the shutter-speed setting disc

Meosuring with the Aperture chosen for the
                         Photogroph
                       Push the chqnge-over switch of the lower
                            disc (50o) home of the recess with  line.
                          Set the shutter-speedsetting device so thot
                          the lines on oll the three discs (50o... c)
                                   will be exoctly one obove the other. For this
                        purpose roise the lower disc (50o) ond turn
                                                it until the lines on the centrol ond inter-
                            nol discs (50b ond c)  will stond together.                           Let the lower disc (50o) return.               i

                       Disengoge the o utomotic d io phrogm  ln€-
                       chonism of  the  lens by meons of  the
                       diophrogm switch (40) (see operoting the

           Turn the operture-settingring (17) until the
            desired operture number will be  of the
         mo rk.



           Push the switch (49) to the  left. Direct the
          comero towords the subject to be photo-
            g ro phed o nd turn the shutter-speedsetting
             disc (51) until the pointer on the left on
            the imoge in the viewfinderwill be in the
            centre of the  circulo r mo rk. (Do not set
            intermediote vo lues between the  shutter
           speeds. ln cose of need effect f ine correc-
              tion by meo ns of the o perture-setting ring
              (17)). lf the required position of the pointer
           connot be obtoined, preselect o  smoller
            o perture number -  g reoter lens o perture.
           Releose. Push the switch (49) to the rig ht.

Meqsuring with Open Diqphrogm
Engoge the outomotic diophrogm mecho-
nisinof the lens by meons of the diophrogm
switch (40) (see Operoting the lens in the
instructionmonuol of the comero).

Push the chonge-overswitch tlre lower disc
(50o) home of the recesswithout line. Roise
the lower disc (50o) of the operture-setting
deviceond turn it until the smollestoperture
number of the lens employed will stond
of the triongulor mork on the internol disc
(50c).Therecon be set the operturenLrmbers
f rom 1.4 to 5.6 os well o s intermediote
volues. Let the lower disc (50o) return. lt
is not permissibleto effect the meqsurement
with on operture differing from the open
diophrogm of the lens employed.

until the desired shutter speed will stond

vo lue ind icoted on the centroI d isc (50b) of
the o perture-setting device by tu rn ing the
o perture-setting ring (7), Do not set inter-
mediote shutter-speedvolues.lf the required
position of the pointer connot be obtoined,
preselect o  smoller or  greoter operture
n u m ber. Releose. Push the switch (49) to

                                                         as  a   lock   for  ASA  sPeed  dial  (52\,
