The Refined Mechanical Qualities of the Master Reflex:
Control mark for the cocked shutter: One lever movement cocks the shutter and ad.vances the
film - therefore no double exposures. This manipulation is registered in a little window where a red
mark shows up. As soon as the shutter has been releasedo which means that the exposure is madeo
the red mark disappears.
An automatic counter signals immediately how many of the 12 exposures on the standard 6x9 cm
(2Y4x31A"1film have been made.
The buih-in delayed action device runs down almost inaudibly in approximately l0 seconds. Close-up
pictures ranging up to natural size (1:1) are obtainable without expensive accessories. Simple
intermediate tubes produce the samo results as did formerly the double extension. And the ground-
glass image still ensures precise focusing up to the moment the shutter is released.
The camera is synchronized for regular and, electronic Jlashes.
A knob is pressed, and the lighthood springs up. By pushing in the black front panel, it can be
converted into a direct-vision view finder with correction of parq.Ilax for sport snaps. Extra masks
for special work with accessory lenses can be supplied on order.
The light-metq,I camera body is extremely convenient to handleo and by means of the projecting die-
cast tripod bushing the camera will always stand straight in a horizontal position. All outer metal
parts of the Master Reflex are either chromium-plated or made of a hydronalium alloy. In spite of its
versatilityo the whole camera weighs only approximately 900 grams.
An Euerready Case completes the equipment of the Master Reflex.View original page 4Page 6 · Read text
