T}IEPRINCIPTEOF THE
The light reflected from the subject enters through cr
window and cr deep light chqnnel upon the Selenium
cell which trqnsforms the incoming light energy into
electricql energy. The lqtter is indicoted by c built-in
microcmmeter. Two meqsuring rctnges ctre obtcined
by c flop which is built into the light chqnnel.
The light chqnnel permits crn angle of view for both
meqsuring rqnges which is considerobly smsller thqn
the field of view of stqndqrd ccrmercr lenses, which
permits pcrticularly qccurqte meqsurement, since only
the importont pcrts of the subject ore used for the
meosurement.
The photo-electric cell records colortrue vqlues.
A speciql spring qrrcrngement mqkes the measuring
element of bighest electricql sensitivity immune to
mechqnicl shocks.

For messurements under extremely weak light eon-

inserted into the contqct slider. The light sensitivity is
thereby increased 16 tames. The super-sensitive element
hqs cr dicphrqgm consistent with the angle of view in
order to eliminqte undesirqble side light.
The super-sensitive element is used only when light
