E  Thank you for choosing the Olympus OM-PC. This
             camera is equipped with a unique "ESP" (Electro-Selective
              Pattern) metering system. By combining this metering
          mode with the automatic film speed setting mode and
            programmed exposure mode, anyone can take perfectly
             exposed pictures with ease. Before using the camera, please
             read this operation manual carefully through while check-
             ing with your camera to become familiar with this ver-
                  satile SLR.

Note: All the components of the Olympus OM-PC are carefully designed and their production and
      assembly is strictly controlled to enhance the unmatched performance of the system. lf any
      interchangeable  lenses, flashes, or accessories other than Olympus products are used, Olympus
      cannot be responsible for poor results or damage of the OM-PC.

             tdme de mesure "ESP". La combinaison de ce mode de
              mesure avec l'affichage automatique de la sensibilit6 du film
                 et le mode d'exposition programm6e, assure sans difficult6
               des clich6s parfaitement expos6s. Afin de vous familiariser
              avec cet appareil, nous vous conseillons de lire attentive-
            ment le prdsent mode d'emploi en contr6lant simultan6-
              ment les fonctions sur votre boitier.
Note: Tous les 6l6ments de I'Olympus OM-PC sont parfaitement sym6trique et leur production est
       strictement contr6l6e afin que les performances in6galables de OM-PC soient encore meilleures. Si

E   Aligner les repdres rouges et faire tourner I'ob-
 jectif dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'au
 verrouillase.



E   Remove the front lens cap. (Press in thernount
tabs on the edges of the lens cap parallel with ,,OLYMPUS"),
E  D6poser le bouchon avant de I'objectif (cn
pressant les deux taquets paralldles de chaque c6t6
du signe Olympus).

E   Press the lens release button and turn the lens
cou nter-clockwise_

             Checking the Batteries

After inserting the batteries, always check as follows:

                       TERY CHECK" position.

                                  the battery voltage is sufficient.
                                              lf these signals are emitted intermittently,  it means
                                  that the batteries are almost worn out. Replace them
                               with new ones as soon as possible.

Setting the Camera for Automatic Film Speed Setting
