ASAHI PENTAX-110 PENTAX Interchangeable Lenses 24mm F2.8 Standard 18mm F2.8 Wide-angle 50mm F2.8 Telephoto Although they are the smallest interchangeable camera lenses available, Pentax-110 interchangeable lenses are precision optical instruments and should be handled with the same care given to larger 35mm format interchangeable lenses. Each Pentax-110 lens features its own independent focusing system. Moreover, aperture setting is not required, as this is performed by the diaphragm mechanism built into the camera's automatic exposure and programmed shutter system. Each Pentax-110 lens bayonets to the front of the camera in the same manner. To remove a lens previously mounted on the camera, push upwards on the lens release lever (Photo 1) and turn the lens approx. 85 degrees to the left until it slips out of the mount. To mount a lens: 1. Match up the red distance scale index of the lens (© in Photo 2) with the red dot on the camera body (@in Photo 2) and insert the lens into the body. 2. Turn the lens to the right until it locks into place (the red distance scale index should be positioned at the top as shown in Photo 3).View original page 2

Focusing Each Pentax-110 interchangeable lens is provided with a focusing ring and features ‘a calibrated distance scale for critical focusing at premeasured distances. When focusing through the viewfinder, simply turn the focusing ring until the split image in the center of the viewfinder aligns as one, Lens Care ‘Although Pentax-110 Interchangeabl Lenses are readily pocketable, they should not be stuffed directly into a pocket without protection as lint and dust will cling to them: they will also scratch easily. To ‘avoid this, always cover the lens with both front and rear caps when keeping it in your pocket or not in use, Also make it a habit to protect the lens from rough objects with ‘casing, cloth, etc,, when carrying it in your pocket, and do not keep lenses in your hip pocket or other places where they might be ‘damaged easily. < ¢ & Tripod Spacer for the 50mm Telephoto Lens ‘The 50mm F2.8 telephoto lens is much larger than the others and will hit against the tripod mount when the camera is ‘mounted directly to a tripod. The Tripod ‘Spacer Ring, available as an optional accessory, is used to prevent this. To use the spacer, simply screw it to the camera's tripod socket; then, screw the tripod into the socket at the bottom of the spacer. Lens Cleaning Remove dust from the surface of the lens with a blower brush, To remove smears ‘and smudges, periodically clean both front ‘and rear glass surfaces of the lens by wiping ‘them gently with lens cleaning paper or 2 soft cloth dampened in lens cleaning, solution, e a we ” bus 4S LF rr ca ee a 020s eat 02 Gamaas PS) anna 8 wns ny) (76,149) FroterCorprtion 9 nr De Ea Goma SH SR: Aut Opti Ca P0805, Toya 10088 PAN fect 005 tarry toi WEST CERWANYView original page 3
