Congratulations on your choice of the Beseler
Topcon Unirex comers. The simplicity with
which you will now be oble to take pictures,
cot ll times ond under all conditions, will
collow you to enjoy photogrophy to the fullest,
You con now have the "fun" of taking pictures,
without having to worry about f/stop numbers,
shutter speeds, and without the need to +
for change either shutter speeds or diaphragm
settings for each picture. Merely setting the
shutter speed dial to ony speed between
1/500th and 1/15th of © second, and the
‘operture ring to “Auto” will result in com-
plete exposure automation.

Every exposure reading will be made directly
through the lens that will be used for the
cctval picture teking. This means thot the
exposure readings will always be accurate,
whether filters ore attached in front of the

lens, close up attachments are used, or even if
the camera is connected to a microscope. In
order to insure complete exposure accuracy
under ony ond ll kinds of lighting situations,
‘exposure meter con be switched from an
overeged, or integrated reading, to spot
metering. Averaged metering should be used
where subjects ore front-li

ively little controst. Spot readings should
be token for bock or side-lit subjects, as well
