TIPS ON USE OF' METER
When taking backlighted subjects, it is
recommended to use a lens hood.
Scenicviews are properly measuredf or
exposure by pointing the exposure
meter downward to measurethe light
reflected from the main point of in-
terest.
Even if subject is indoors and bright
or strong light coming through the
windows is backlighting the subject,
no adjustment is necessary as the
ex posure meter is bu i lt to com pensate
for such extremesin lighting.
