1. NOZZLEINSTALLATION
      1.1 ModelBK-1burneris designedfor easyservicing.For exam-    ELECTRODESETTINGS
       ple,whenthe rearcoverlid is removed,the nozzleoil lineassembly                   Fig. 1        is visiblefor servicing(with7/16" nozzleopenend wrench).The oil                                                                                                                                                                                                                          i*
       line should be disconnectednear the pump. The two screws
      holdingthe nozzleoil lineadapterplatesshouldthen be loosened.
     By turningthe nozzleoil lineassemblyslightlyto the left,andthen
       pulling the assemblystraight out, the flame retentionhead
     becomesvisible.Next,by disconnectingthe quickconnectionson
      the transformer,the firingheadcan be completelyisolatedfromthe
       rest of the burner.(The cad cell lead wiresshouldalso be discon-
      nectedfrom the quick telescopicdisconnects.)Then the flame
       retentionhead can be completelyremovedby just looseningthe
      screwon the adapterbracket.By usinga 518"and a 314" open
     end wrench,the nozzlecan be removedor installed.The best
       resultsare obtainedby usingsuggestedspecifiednozzles.For the
      nozzle,head and electrodesettings,refer Fig. 1. Electrodegaps
      are alreadyset,and Fig.1 givesthe guidelines.Toleranceson the
      nozzleto the headcan varyr91115"and -0". The pumpis factory
      adjustedto the proper pressurefor the lower firing rate of each
       boilermodel.When the higherfiring rate of the particularboiler
     modelis requiredreferto Table 1

     2. WIRINGTHE BURNER
      2.1 The burnersare suppliedwith a wiringstrip (mountedto the
     housing)and pre'wiredto the boilercontrols.Followboilerwiring
      instructions.
      2.2 PhelonlnterruptedDuty Control/lgnitorSystem- The burners
      are suppliedwith a Phelon402000recyclingcontroland an elec-
      tronic ignitor (Model #142801which producesan interrupted
     14,000Vspark,a 15 secondtrial-for-ignition,and a 10 secondigni-
       tion overlapafter the flame is proven.
