EXPOSURES
We recommend lhat you work around lhe basic exposure

expose lor lhe various normal condilions you may en-
counler when taking slereo piclures oulside or when
l a k i n g { l a s h p i c l u r e s .
EXPOSURE
Some rules lo keep in mind when selfing your shuller
speeds:
1. For mosl piclures 1/50th of a second will slop some
aclion and lake care of ordinary camera movemenl,
2, For aclion shols use speeds ol 1/1001h of a second lo
1/2001h of a second, (street - scenes, horses, aulo-
m o b i l e s , c h i l d r e n ) .
3, For grealer depth of field or grealer range o{ sharp-
ness, slower shuller speeds and smaller I slops should
be used. We recommend you use a lripod for such
seitings, (Portroits, ouldoor counlry scenes, elc.).
4. Subjecls moving rapidly across the camera view
require higher shulfer speeds.
5. Subjecls moving af an angle of abouf 450 lo your
' camera require aboul half lhe shuller speed as objecls
moving parallel lo your camera or across fhe piclure.
tfr 5. Subjecls moving directly loward your came,ra (or awaynF from if) are quile easy lo sfop, require aboul half fhe
shuller speed of a subjecl moving al a 45 0 angle lo
your camera.
As the dislance betw'een lhe subjecl and lhe camera'fi' increases, lhe more aclion you will be able fo slop.
