Eetting the Camera Ready: wirh Every New Film
   Setting the Film Speed. The outomotic exposure control depends on this. Futty pull out
   the rewind knob, push the cotch on the setting knob outwords, ond turn the film speed
   disc to bring the required DIN or ASA roting of the film opposite the red index mork.
   The dot before 12 stonds for l0 ASA; the dot behind 25 is 32 ASA.
   Setling the Film Counler. Open the comerq bock, ond move the reversing lever to "R".
   Turn the film tronsport shoft to the left or to ihe right until the diomond I mork (for
   36-exposure cossettes) or the O mork (for 2O-exposure cossettes) oppeors in the film
   counter window.
    lnserting the Cqssette. Drow some of the film leoder out of lhe cossette, fold down ihe
   end, ond hook it into the slot of the toke-up spool. Drow the cossette ocross the film
   trock ond insert in the cossette chomber. Push bock the rewind knob. Check thot the
   rewind shoft engoges the cossette core, ond thot the sprockel of the tronsporl shoft
   engoges the perforotion holes of the film. Close the comero.
   Getting Reody for the First Exposure. Alternotely work the ropid winding lever ond
   the releose button until the film counter indicotes No. 36 or No. 20 respectively for
   the first exposure.

Setting the Exposul€! Two Eosy Steps
O Seleci the Shulter Speed by turning the setting knob until the required speed engoges
   opposite the triongulor A mork. Toke hond-held shots only with the block shutter
                                 1/oo second.  speeds from l/soo to

  comero ot the subiect. This directly sets the correct exposure with the coupled outo-
  motic control.

          lf the two pointers do not line up within the ronge of the operture scole (where
      the setting knob moves quite eosily) you connot toke the shot with the shutter
      speed you selected. With o little more effort (due to coupling wiih the shutter
      speed ring which clicks into position ot eoch setting) you con turn the setting knob
       further until the pointers ore oligned.
           lf ofter setting the exposure you need o different operiure for more depth of field,
      or o different shutter speed, turn the shutter speed ring to set the operture-speed
      combinotion you wqnt.

Setting the DistanG€! Turn rhe Lens Mount
   In the split-imoge rongefinder verticol subiect lines oppeor broken ond disploced to
   the left or right (with the comero held horizoniolly) or horizontol lines upwords or
   downwords (with the comero held upright). When they ioin up exoctly, the lens is
    correctly focused.
   Use the ground glcss sctuen ring to focus subiects without prominent lines. Rotote the
   lens mount until the subiect is shorp in the ground gloss ring.

Shooting! Frome by Frome
   Alwoys press lhe releose button gently ond fully; never jerk  it.
   After every shot pull out lhe ropid winding lever os for os it will go.                           di

   Rewinding ond Removing the Film. Push the reversing lever upwords to "R". Pull up
   the rewind knob to its first slop, ond turn in the direction of the orrow until the i   (or the O) mork re-oppeors in the film counter window. Open the comero bock ond
   remove the cossette.
