Compensating for a Filter

With ony filter (except the u. v. ond sky-lighf
f ilters) the exposure setting requires some
correction. You con corry out this odiustment
simply by turning filter foctor disc (9) to the
number of the corresponding filter foctor, so
thot the presence of o filter will be outomoti-
co I ly to ken into occount by the exposure
meter.

Just to remind you thot you hove compen-
soted for o filter, o smoll block circle will
hove become visible in the top left corner of
the viewfinder. This circle will disoppeor
when the fifter foctor disc is turned bock to
unity.

The indicotedfilter foctors ore only opproximote
