BINOCULAR
  PANTOSCOPE
For the purposeof effectivelY
  viewing Lantern Slides.

6?1fHIS does not require a Stereoscoptc Slide, but merely the ordinary Lantern Slide.
vP It is fitted with rwo very powerful Prismatic Lenses, rvhich magnifv nea,rly
double. Instrumentswith only ooe eyepiece become tiring if a number of slides are
looked at, but this is overcome rvith tbe Binocular Pantoscope; a'so by looking with both
eyes double tbe ligbt is obtaincd. The instrument can be focussed for dift,.rent sigbts.
For tbe easy insertion of slides, a sliding carrier is added, which also ermits of the exact
  rbgistering of tbe slides.
Handsomely Enisbed in polisbed mahogany, and seot out carefully packed in bor
 complete.
The No, r is arranged for l-pl, prints as well as Laotern Slldes, and has a raising
mirror, the same as the ordinary Stereoscope. It is also so constructed as to take the
ChromoScope, an instrument which gives a variety o' graduated tioted effectsto tbe
slides. aod wbicb is extremely pretty and effective. Sunrise, sunset, and a variety of cloud
and sea eftects are also obtained.
