  Sander orr" Fland Camera
               ..POST-CARD'' THE NE\M MODEL.
  TiHE introduction of a " Post-card "
    r " Sanderson " will be appreciated
by most pictorial workers. All amateurs
will admit that the 5 x 4 Plate is too
square, and also that the $-plate is too
wide. The new size, 5f x 3*, however,
suffers {rom neither of these disadvan-
tages. lt yields admirable upright pic-
tures, and when used the long way gives
a picture having all the panoramic ad-
vantages, with none of its defects. A
fairly long-focus lens can be employed,
and the proportions of the picture can
be preserved without having to rcsort to
  the trimming knife.
   The t'Post-card" t'Sanderson" is not
unduly large, and its vogue is practically
  assured among pictorial photographers.
b Plate makers have been quick to recognise the demand that has arisen for the
new size, and 5f x3.l Pl*es are now obtainable from most of the big Plate-making
firms. \that is perhaps most important, the plates only cost the same as the 5 x4
  size.
The Specification of the " Post-card " Model is exactly the same as that of
t'Regular." ft should be pointed out, however, that the disparity in price the
between the 5 x 4 and " Post-card " Models is due to the fact that the latter have
to be fitted with $-plate lenses and shutters.
