Service and maintenance

‘Cameras and lenses put to heavy-duty profes-
‘sional use should be serviced by an authorized
Hasselblad service center at regular intervals.
‘The lubrication in cameras and lenses that are
unused for long periods, (6 months or more)
‘can dry out. This may lead to increased wear,
and a poorer operation. To avoid drying, ope-
rate stored equipment from time to time, ex-
posing a couple of times at each shutter speed.
In this way the lubrication will be distributed in
the mechanism and the equipment will be kept
in good condition.
