‘Thank you for your purchase of the Contax TLA360.
It is a clip-on type, TTL autoflash for our SLR
cameras with TTL auto flash exposure control.

-<Main Features>

1 High output guide number of 36 (I80100em when
‘35mm lens is used)

2 This flash unit can also be used as a TTL auto flash
with direct flash metering (when one of our TTL.
‘automatic cameras incorporating flash exposure
Control is used).

3 Normal auto flash and manual flash functions

4 Includes auxiliary flash (used when main flash head is.
used for bounce).

5 The main flash head is of the zoom flash type with
variable angle of flash coverage from 24mm to 85mm
lenses.

6 With stroboscopic flash function

7 Second-curtain synchro possible (with our camera
featuring this function)

‘This flash unit also has the features as above.
Please read this manual carefully before using your new
flash unit correctly for a long time.

+ The TLA360 is not correctly controlled in the TTL auto
flash exposure control mode on some of our SLR
‘cameras incorporating the TTL flash exposure
Control, such as the 137MA,137MD and 139 Quartz.
With these cameras, you have to take flash pictures
Jn the normal auto flash mode or manual flash mode,

‘With our SLR cameras that do not have TTL coupled
exposure control but do have a direct X contact, you can,
shoot in the normal auto flash mode or manual flash
mode,
