Inserling lhe Cosselle
 To open the comero.^bock, press together both locking coiches (4). Then push
 the reversing lever (20) to the left. This mokes the t"*ind knob'(i9) iump up; pull it out os for os it will go see illustrotion lll.
Now push the film leoder into the slot of the toke-up spool so thot o
perforotion hole engoges the hook (27). Pull the film cossette ocross the film
trock (17), put it into the cossette chomber (18) ond fully push bock the
rewind.knob (25) - see illustrotion lV. The shoft of the rewind knob (24) mustcorrectly engoge the film cossette.
Now lurn the toke-up spool by its lower milled ring until both perforqted
edges of the film engoge the Jprocket of the tronspJn shqft (22).'Close rhecomero.
   The comero con be looded wiih oll minioture films on the morket. Stondord dovlioht
    cossettes of. perforoted 35 mm film usuolly yield 36 or 20           Z+  g? fi;'-    in block-ond-white or colour film.                         "*posJt"i    "

                        Turn the milled button (15) until the mork | (o) -
                            for o 36-exposure cossette - or the mork O (c) -
                                                                          red                         for o 20-exposure coss'ette -  is opposite the                        dot. Then olternotely work the ropid winding
                        lever ond the releose until the film counter
                           indicotes No. 36 (b) or 20 (d) respectively.
                        The film counter now outomoticolly shows the number
                           of fromes still ovoiloble every time you odvonce the
                               film. li thus runs bockwords towords No. l.            ,
                The Film Type Indicotor (S)
                                   is only intended os o memory oid to remind you of the
                          type of film you hove looded. lt does not offect the                             exposure J in ony woy. Set the film indicotor before
                             looding the film (with ihe rewind knob fully extended)
                         by turning the disc os follows:

Shutter Speeds
The comero works ot o fixed shutter  speed  qt every film speed setting:

With the control ring set to "AUTO" you therefore olwoys shoot ot the shutter speedcorresponding to the-ASA or DIN speed of your film. lntermediote ASA or DiN settings
yield intermediote shutter speeds.
Keep in mind thot fixed relotionship between the shutter s-peed ond.film speed. setting,
esp6ciolly when you wont to toke"fost moving sublects (for exomple sports shots). In
such coses it is therefore best to use o fcst film.
Time exposures. When you set the control

                          Flosh Shofs
                          ore not only suitoble for evenings of home ond for
                          ie                reolly live shots ond porties ond other festive occosions,
                             but olso provide oifroclive sunlight effects with outdoor
                                  portroits on dull doys. When shooting ogoinst the light,
                                           fill-in flosh con olso illuminote deep shodows.
                                 For flosh shots turn the control ring to the red flosh ronge  ('12).
                                This ogoin disengoges the outomqtic control system, but ihe
                                   shutter is now set to 1/:ro second with ony of the red operture
                                     figures. This is suitoble for synchronisin! oll flosh bulbs ond
                                      electronic flosh units on the morket.
                           Mount the flosh gun in lhe occessory shoe on the top of the
                                  comercr ond plug the flosh coble from the gun into the socket
                                                                 (1 l). The  f losh bulb pocking usuolly gives exposure doto for
                               the correcl operture in the forrn of so-colled guide numbers.
                           The correct operiure is obtained by dividing lhe oppropriote
                             guide number by the distonce from the flosh to the subiect.
                                     In brief : operlure :  guide number : dislonce.
